This Policy explains what data we collect, for what purposes, how we use it, and your rights.
Controller & purposes
mySearch (contact: support@mysearch.gg) processes your data to: create/manage your account, provide the service (search, export, dashboard), send operational emails, ensure security/abuse‑prevention, and generate aggregated statistics.
Data we collect
- Account: email, salted & hashed password, timestamps, role/subscription.
- Billing: payment identifiers (via our providers), payment events.
- Usage: search/export logs, IP address, timezone, user‑agent.
- Newsletter: email address and subscription date (if you subscribe).
Legal bases
- Contract (performance of the service).
- Legitimate interest (security, improvement).
- Legal obligation (accounting/tax).
- Consent (newsletter).
Data retention
Account: retained while active then deleted/anonymized within 12 months. Technical/analytics logs: 12–24 months. Billing: retained per applicable legal periods.
Recipients & processors
Hosting (Hostinger), payment providers, email delivery and analytics providers. Card data is never stored by mySearch.
Transfers outside the EU
Where applicable, safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses and additional measures.
Security
Password hashing, HTTPS, access controls, infrastructure hardening and backups.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. To exercise your rights: support@mysearch.gg. You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.
